We are conveniently located a few minutes off SH 1 between Waipu and Ruakaka, 1.5 hours north of Auckland, 30 minutes south of Whangarei. We are almost exactly halfway between Auckland and the Bay of Islands.

Inverie is just a few minutes drive to some of Northland's top beaches - Ruakaka and Uretiti Beach, Waipu Cove and Langs Beach. Great surf, great fishing and endless stretches of white sand.
Waipu Golf Course - an 18 hole all weather links course beside the beach.
Ruakaka is the home of the Whangarei Racecourse - an all weather race track with regular meetings throughout the year.
Explore - they have regular weekend markets and the Waipu Museum has a unique Scottish story.
Take your torch and gumboots and look for glowworms in the Waipu Caves, or sit under the waterfall of the Piroa Falls.
Enjoy a coffee at the nearby Marsden Cove Marina (visit website) on the edge of the Whangarei Harbour, or visit the Refinery Visitor Centre and see the story of New Zealand’s only oil refinery.
